l'5VQ'Lfl iq , r-UQQXE., Aw' a tht Ilbemorium JOHN CLARK On November 17, 1924, occured the death of one of our beloved fellow students. John was eighteen years, seven months, and three days of age, when he passed from our midst to that won- derful world of eternal peace and rest. He was a member of the Sophomore Class in our High School, although he was not attending school at the time of his death. Having decided to take up construction work, he was studying this course from the International Correspondence School. Meanwhile he was working at this kind of work near Salem, West Va., when an accident occured which caused his death. John is not only missed by his fellow students but by all who knew him. He was constantly smiling and was loved by all, because of his good sportsmanship and his cheery disposition. He was loyal to his school and was a member of the Football Squad of 1923. Although Iohn may be dead in flesh, his traits of character and his spirit will live on with those who knew him. It is a sad loss to those on Earth but a gain to those in Heaven. H. V. M.
