m 1 Y.. -H. ...l,..-.v -- -. pun: 5653 35 55 Q ? Y Although' a journalism class as such is rela- tively recent, a yearbook called Owl was printed in 1917. Other names, used before the MHS yearbook became known as Wildcat , were Sunflower and Yarn, Beginning in 1924, school news was written in a section of the Moundridge Journal. The independent school newspaper the Wildcat's Howl , was first printed in 1945. This year's journalism class consisting of ten students and advisor, Mrs. Harder, publish- ed the paper, the Wildcat's Howl as well as this yearbook. Carolee Goering served as Wildcat's Howl editor, while the rest of the girls in class took turns assisting her. Carol Goering, Wildcat editor, was assist-ed by Mark Sander. Roger Goebel and Mark Sander acted as photographers for both publications.
