The school has two programs which allows a job to count as a credit towards graduation. Distributive Ed. and Office Ed. offers job training in business and sales, office and communication skills. Many students are allowed to leave school early to work during the rest of the scheduled day. Selling M M's and candles were two fund raisers that the students took part in. But there's more to it than wondering where to look for a job and which plaid suit Mr. Furlong will wear. Many students take part in compiti-tions held in the state and also national contests. Both programs teach the skills needed to make it out in the business field, and the graduates of Mound are living proof. 23
