Under the coaching of Miss Recker, Girls track had a very successful beginning year. The 20 girls participated in three meets Coon Rapids placing 4th out of 7 schools at Cooper, and came in 2nd at Minnetonka. They lost by one point to Minnetonka. The energetic girls are looking forward to a fuller year of competition next season. Hal Wood was the team's leading hurdler and finished second for the team in scoring.
