Rooters Rally This year ihe Pep Club began the practice of wearing uniforms consisting of red wool jumpsuits worn with white, long sleeve turtlenecks. Besides their traditional activities, the Pep (Huh. with the aid of the Spirit Revolution, organized a Homecoming parade down the main street of Mound complete with floats and the high school hand. Matson, Treasurer, The M Club has math its presence known again this year. Early in the school year they helped with Home-coming anti sponsored the bonfire. 'Hie red M Club letter jackets were a familiar sight again this year as they sponsored various fund raising projects to provide money for athletic t quipment. They sponsored the Annual Mount! Relays anti coronation anti co-sponsored the April 23rd Award Banquet. In general they have worked hard this year to develop sportsmanship, loyalty, anti school spirit. 106

Tin Orman Club was given an added boost this year by two of the foreign students at Mound, who were officers in the club. Angie, from Germany, and Anders, from Sweden, gave us better understanding of German and Europe an customs. Activities of the year inc luded the annual German-Spanish Christmas party, a Homecoming float which featured a German cuckoo, and a successful booth at the A.F.S. Fiesta. German potato salad, kuchen, tarts, and root beer were sold. 108
