Enthusiasm fills the language laboratory. Language Arts With construction of the new library complete, the number of volumes has increased to 7,000. This number will continue to grow because of government aid and the demand placed on the library by the students and faculty. German I starts the students with an introduction to the language and people of Germany. German II works on increasing fluency of speech and knowledge of fundamentals, while German III helps the students understand the German culture and increase their ability to converse. Spanish begins with the study of fundamentals of the language which prepares students for a later study of literature and culture. The language lab is used extensively for both the German and Spanish classes. Arthur Erickson ...
