TO PREPARE US Mr. Babcock was in his first year at Mound this year. He was previously employed at Cedar Falls. Iowa, and he attended New York University. Mr. Liebrenz has the job of handling all matters of finance and business for School District Number 227. BUSINESS MANAGER Mr. Liebrenz This year Solid Geometry and Trigonometry have been added on to Mr. Schulte’s teaching duties, as well as Plane Geometry and Elementary Algebra. Mrs. Hanson’s classes are composed of those students taking Advanced Algebra and Plane Geometry. Mr. Brandenburg varies his time between Senior Mathematics and his duties as visiting teacher. AS FACULTY WORKS LANGUAGE Mr. Wachalx, Mrs. Edlund, Mr. Onsted, Mrs. Gulbrandson, Miss Wagnild, Mr. Macias. (Not pictured: Mr. Gulbrandson). Our language instructors are very talented in their many fields. Mr. Wachal is the Enriched Senior English teacher as well as sharing his time as German and journalism instructor. Mrs. Edlund teaches Standard. Enriched. and College Preparatory Junior English. Instructor of Enriched Sophomore English and the Standard Senior English is Mr. Onsted. Mrs. Gulbrandson is the Senior College Preparatory English instructor, while her husband. Mr. Gulbrandson. teaches Junior English. As well as teaching art. Miss Wagnild teaches Sophomore English. Mr. Macias, better known as “Senor by his students, teaches Standard Sophomore English and Spanish I. II, and IN. Our school librarian is Miss Johnson, assisted by Mrs. Thompson. FOR OUR FUTURES Mr. King and Mr. Gove both teach regular senior Social Problems. In addition, they teach World History and American History, respectively. Our former principal. Mr. Julsrud. teaches sophomore American History. Mr. Gimmestad divides his time among World History, typing, and enriched Social Problems. MUSIC Mr. Skow, Mr. Hotvet In her first year at Mound, Miss Quibell taught biology and physical education. Mr. Nielsen teaches chemistry and physics, and in his spare time he is the head of the Audio-Visual Department. Mr. Coulter teaches biology and chemistry in our expanded science department.
