The electric lines fail--and the oil-burner and the range won't work. Mother forgot the food anyway! ln the freezing house, while the Gages breakfast on what's left---cornflakes, molasses, and olives!--from the rooms of the unmodern Rockwoods come gusts of warmth from their woodburner, and the smell of coffee and frying ham. The Gages rally around Father and his cornflakes and olives, until they smell the Rockwoods' fresh biscuits! Then they desert Father. He accuses his two small daughters Sarah CNoreen Millsb and Paula Ganice Domjahnj of being traitors. It even ap- pears that Barbara has eloped with the Rockwood's son. lt looks like it will end in com- plete disaster! But Sherrif Carson fDean Kelschj brings the good news that George has not left town. Uncle Walter CGeorge Hernerj brings tidings of great joy that the Gorleys had a new addition to the family. The play, presented in mid-April, was directed by Mr. Dale Magstadt with Ren'e Gilbert as assistant. 16
