SECOND ROW: Mr. Dale Magstadt, Director, Vivian Vukelic, Darlyne Karnrath, Shirley Swindler, Marjorie Kilber, Lynette Wentlandt, Loretta Heinrich, and Nancy Fiedler. THIRD ROW: Terry Manolovits, Sig Trautwein, Dale Eisenbarth, Jeffery Auch, Jim Lince, and Ron Srb. FOURTH ROW: Ervan Weiler, Maurice Svihovec, Ted Peters, Kent I-Iardmeyer, Dick Matzke, Bob Skogley, and Joe Mitzel. This year's Senior Class departed from tradition and chose the unusual play The Re- markable Incident at Carson Corners. The play, Written by Reginald Rose, was differ- ent in plot and method of presentation. It required no scenery other than chairs. The Whole play took place on the stage of Carson Corners' high school. In the play, some of the students accused the janitor, Mr. Peter Kovalesky, of murder. The ensuing drama involves most of the leading citizens of Carson Corners. The director, Mr. Magstadt, receiving his gift of skis, ski poles, and bindings. The presentation was made by Marvin Buchholz and Ervan Weiler. 14

Ervau Weiler crowning Carnival Queen Evelyn Marthaller of the Senior Class, STANDING: Dean Mitzel, Jerry Klein, Shirley Senn, Mary AnnSch- wartz, Sharon Zimmerman, George Herner, and John Reinert. The annual Mott Lincoln High School Carnival was held on Fri- day, November l8 1960. ' F The evening started with a A ' Q ' program given by the elemen- ' tary grades . Following this the queen candidates were introduced by their campaign managers . john Reinert was manager for the Senior Class candidateg George l-Ierner for the junior Classy jerry Klein for the Sophomore Classg and Dean Mitzel for the Freshman Class . The high school students a- gain sold raffle tickets with a G.E. dryer, a bowling ball and bag, and a set of dishes as QUEEN CANDIDATES: Shirley Senn, juniorg Evelyn Marthaller, senior: prizes .
