Homecoming - 1960 Iuniors' Winning Float Let's Clean 'Em Up Saints We're Hatching a Victory Seniors' Honorable Mention The 1960 Homecoming festivities of Mott Lincoln High began with a bonfire on Thurs- day evening, October 13th, during which the King, Ervan Weiler, and the Queen, Violet Haberstroh were crowned. The Queen's at- tendants were Linda Landis, Shirley Senn, Gail Tuite, and Virginia Roberts. Dean Kelsch, Kent Hardmeyer, David Friez, and Leslie Haberstroh were the King's attendants. The junior and F.F.A. floats tied for first place with the slogans, We're Hatching a Victory, and Let's Run 'Em Through the The Bonfire! Mill. Mott played a tie game Q20-201 with St. Mary's. 12 Erv and Violet The Royalty Float King and Queen

Carnival - 1960 NLC. Ervau Weiler crowning Carnival Queen Evelyn Marthaller of the Senior Class, STANDING: Dean Mitzel, Jerry Klein, Shirley Senn, Mary AnnSch- wartz, Sharon Zimmerman, George Herner, and John Reinert. The annual Mott Lincoln High School Carnival was held on Fri- day, November l8 1960. ' F The evening started with a A ' Q ' program given by the elemen- ' tary grades . Following this the queen candidates were introduced by their campaign managers . john Reinert was manager for the Senior Class candidateg George l-Ierner for the junior Classy jerry Klein for the Sophomore Classg and Dean Mitzel for the Freshman Class . The high school students a- gain sold raffle tickets with a G.E. dryer, a bowling ball and bag, and a set of dishes as QUEEN CANDIDATES: Shirley Senn, juniorg Evelyn Marthaller, senior: prizes . This brought to a close an- other exciting carnival at Mott Lincoln High. le af .ii,, , Sharon Zimmerman, freshmang Mary Ann Schwartz, sophomore. The Crowd! ! 13
