Councilman Jerry Springer who had been forced to resign last year beacuse of questionable behavior springs back into City Council with new solutions for the cur- rent city problems of unemployment, dwindling re- sources and high taxes. An advocate of the proposed Equal Rights Amendment, Mr. Springer supports Cin- cinnati's first woman mayor, Ms. Bobbie Sterne who, unfortunately, does not support pro-life legislation. 12 - OPENING

On October 22, 1975 many citi- zens join together on Fountain Square to celebrate the victory of their baseball team over the Boston Red Sox when the Cincinnati Reds win the fourth and final game of the World.
