Lz'teratureeRevz'ver 0fth6 Past Miss Dugan, Miss Barrett, and Miss Wandstrat stop as they are about to descend the marble steps to chat. Chances are they Literaturewthe key to enjoyment. Who shares that pleasure better than the English teachers do with their students? Tangling with parts of speech and punctuation, and meeting with Shakespeare for the first time is the task of freshman English pupils. Assisting them in this study is Miss Janis Dugan, moderator of C.D.L., who also teaches Religion 1. Helping sophomores strug- gle through other aspects of grammar are Miss Alma Wanclstrat and Miss Joan Brunsman, who is the moderator of the GLEANINGS. Sister 22 us discuss the English Classes that till their days. Chances also are that after a trying day such a topic is farthest from their minds. Mary Benet R.S.M., who is the moderator of the Latin Club plus Senior Sociality, helps third year English girls as they again adventure through the pages of literature. The last three years of Latin and junior and senior English are her fields. Sen- iors complete their English course under Miss Eleanor Barrett, teacher of English IV and World History. These teachers aid the pupils in their journey on the vast ocean of literature in their sturdy ship iiDiligenceh to the port of en- joyment.
