Along with shorthand, business mathematics, and bookkeeping help Mercians be- come good secretaries. Mrs. Helen Welge, Mrs. Sally Furst, and Mr. Joseph Lammert start the juniors off on the road to the business world by teaching them the basic techniques of their profes- sions. Sister Mary Conradine R.S.M. helps the stu- dents as seniors perfect their abilities and sends them into the world as model secretaries.
