In the Physics and Chemistry depart- ments, Sister Mary Johanna R.S.M., advisor for the C.S.M.C., and Sister Mary Dismis R.S.M., junior Sodality moderator, combine every element known and well . , , anything goes! Physical Sci- ence studentse with aid from Sister Mary Edwina R.S.M. and their inquiring minds, delve into the ttlives of many non-living substances Teaching junior English and moderating the senior Sodality are on Sister Edwinahs agenda also. The sodality library, found in the rear of room 301 is kept up to date by Sister Mary Francine R.S,M., sophomore sodalily advisor. Mu Alpha Theta . . . that is the top! All Mercy math students strive for a superior average to be enrolled in this newly organized club. At Mercy the math curriculum includes four basic courses. Algebra I is taught to willing freshmen by Sister Mary Henrietta R.S.M. The teaching of geometry proves to be one of Sister Mary Francineis R.S.M. many talents, for she also instructs classes in Eng- Iish and Religion, plus being the moderator of the Sophomoresi Sodality. Sister Mary Domitilla R.S.M. has a busy schedule which covers the many fields of trigonometry, solid geometry, calculus, and Algebra II. She is also the moderator of the Math Club. With the help of these hne teachers Mercy students prepare themselves for the future. Puzzled! So is Jackie Woodruff, only you cannot find the answer to her trigonometry problem in the yeilow pages. Sorry. try again! Bills! Bills! and more bills sighs Sister Mary Euphrasia RKS.M., Mercfs auditor, as she offers a smile while balancing books.
