Ruptured brains? A Masters Degree? Four year scholarships? Well, not exactly. Accomplishments such as these are beyond the mental capacity of the newly ordained upper- classmen. However, they have made some very perceivable advancements. They are now well on the road to achieving their prime aim: seniors. Measurements are to be taken for their rings, and a variety show is to be given to announce three candidates for the spring prom. These two events help the juniors to realize that in just one year the gateway to seniorship will be Opened to them. A feeling of thankfuhiess for being sophomores overshaclows the girls when they realize the disadvantages they suffered as freshmen. However, even though being sophomores seems to be an improvement, the girls soon find out it isnit the tibed of rose? which they have pictured it to be. Few privileges are granted to these girls, how- ever, they do present their own play and have permission to attend several school dances. Retreat, mission days, science projects, and the dreaded exams make this year interesting. The sophomores are on the threshold of a new day in school life e upperclassmen is the next stop. Sophomore Saints! Sophomores forget fun for two days of retreat. They relish the opportunity to be alone with God as they look into the future and plan for a journey to the hkCiOidCIl Gates?
