The little school which was opened in that first convent has multiplied into scores of institutions. One of these was Y Y Mother of Mercy Villa, which opened in J Westwood in 1915, and was changed in 1943 to Mother of Mercy High School. a much-needed inter-parochial school in this rapidly-expanding section of the city.
