Bruner R Kelly and B and J McDe mott malge a visit to McCormick at grayer in the Chapel Ou Ladys Shrine. of ur Lady 'lllll llllilLl'l'll O BECOME a member of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin at Holy Trinity, a student must resolve to follow its all-inclusive rule to serve Christ through Mary. The members of the Sodality join the Blessed Mother in her work of saving souls for her Son. They unite their small efforts with those of Mary in order that they might bring our world of Trinity closer to Christ. The Sodality here at Trinity was late in organizing and, though the membership is still quite small, its members are fully prepared to undertake its most impor- tant work. Under the guidance of Bro. Thomas Stanley, S.M. the Sodality has sponsored a drive to have each student, first, carry a rosary, and then, to pray it often. 34

HE name Cactos stands for Catholic Action Cell Technique of Students. Begun about two and one halt years ago by Bro. John Kelley and three or tour freshmen, it has grown into an organization boasting a membership ot some sixty students. This organization, which combines the work ot selt-sanctitication and good example with an active attempt at influ- encing the other students, has thus tar been successful because many ot the scholastic, athletic, and social leaders in the school are Cactos members. Under the guidance of Bros. John Kelley, Thomas Stanley, Eldon Reichert, and William Crenner, and the able leadership ot President Don Zoeller, it has become a pow- erful, though for the most part silent, force tor Christian thinking and action within Holy Trinity.
