Leon- ard, and R. Morris also make an important part of the staff. The musical talent of E. Werner and J. Michel are utilized on the school orchestra. And last, but certainly not least, this congregation of sober minded gentlemen can boast of a higher record in scholarship than most of the classes already gradu- ated. J. Michel, A. Parra, J. Leon- ard, J. Boden, S. Villani, E. Werner, D. Foley, and F. Goetz are always top students. And so, when the four years of their stay at Holy Trinity are com- pleted, when the records of their achievements are ended, one will automatically note, Well done, Christian gentlemen,-well done! tiki FACTS: Bro. William Busch, S.M., gives the lowdown on class matters to J. Leonard, Sec- retary, E. Werner, Vice-President, and T. Brennan, President. CHEMISTRY: Amid reactions and reagents F. Goetz, J. Boden, A. wil' 4eJ1W UTSTANDINGV' That is per- haps the best word we can use to describe this colorful combination of good-natured, swell guys. Hardly ever before has a class been known for so many talents and loyal qualities as the sixth term. ln sports the famous sixth is second to none. The combined tal- ent of lanky T, Brennan, S. Villani, and F. Winkelman has had a definite effect on the Tiger's third place bas- ketball league standing. J. Rose is also a promising star for next year's hard-wood squad. Even in baseball, the sixth term has had a large repre- sentation of talented players. There are S, Villani, T. Deneen, F. Winkel- man, E. Egan, and A. Parra. In extra-curricular activities, D. Foley, H. Prentice, J. Hicks, J. Col- bert, G. Papa, A, Parra, J. Story, W. Hess, W. Harley, R. Hancock, com- tiiir HERR PROFESSOR: Assuming a magisterial air, W. Balfe prepares to explain some Ger- man to J. Owens, R. Jones, G. Papa, G. Herrmann, and A. Volk. LITERATURE: Assignment for tonight - Edgar Allan Poe, and busy at it are F. Winkelman, J. Kerwick, H. LW' qw E OF the fifth term proudly give an account of our schol- astic and athletic successes. We led the scholastic standings with more students on the honor roll than any other class. M, Coughlin, J. Gil- more, K. Peters, and J. Benson usu- ally take first honors, and R. Brogna, E. Corke, P. Hoban, W. Kosman, R. Shaw, D. Troy, and J. Monaghan take second honors regularly. We are also well represented in sports. On the J. V. basketball team we have P. Hoban, who was moved up to the Varsity late in the season, J, Savio, T. Lilly, W. Schiebelhuth. On the baseball team there is hard- hitting M. Coughlin, J. Slattery, J. Savio, J. Cleary, and P. Hoban. The fifth term is also noted for its active support of school activities. tiki STRATEGY: Planning for coming events are M. Coughlin, President, Bro. William Cren- ner, S.M., J. Gilmore, Secretary, and K. Peters, Vice-President. PREVIEW: Talking over a coming exam are F. DiRusso, J. Slattery, B. Mack, J. McGuin- ness, and T. Simmons. DRAWING: T squares and triangles are familiar tools in the hands of R. Shaw, J. Cleary, J. Whitaker, E. Corke, R. Yaeger, and J. Benson. ASSISTANCE: This is the way it is, says J. Sweeney to C.
