Plllt CIPAL' MESSAGE My dear Graduates: Making our world Christ's is indeed a timely, most appropriate theme for your an- nual. lt reveals that you are conscious that the world today is not wholly Christ's, and that you want to bring as much of it as comes under your influence under His benign Sovereignty, That was the task the chosen Twelve set for themselves many centuries ago, and in follow- ing their example you have chosen wisely. But you have also chosen a herculean work that will not be achieved except through blood, sweat, tears, and, I might add, persevering prayer. From day to day one tact is growing more apparent: the people of the world are aligning themselves into either the camp of Christ or into a camp that is not His. Our Catholic Faith tells us which of these two forces will eventu- ally be victorious. lt is your glorious privilege, dear Graduates, to swell the ranks of the cam- paigners tor Christ by now putting into practi- cal living the Catholic principles you inbibed while at Holy Trinity.
