The choirs com- eted 1'1; 1 2 2 Gulf Coast Choral estimxi mid and Regional 'ontesz. h .0 Show Choir Con- 212 t Stop The M usjc test, and the Loyola University Choir Con test. The choirs also held formal concerts during the year that included Christmas By The River. The y also presen ted a Christmas and spring concert. Al- though the choir performed for numerous Christmas parties and differen t comm unity organiza- tions, nothing meant more than the special feeling ofsingmg for friends and family. It all started one dreary August mom. The y were up with the birds looking halfasleep. Life in Candy- land was never easy. but it had its rewards; 1'17 order to form a more perfect union, last years band worked very diligently. However, as they marched out onto the field, they realized it was all worth their efforts. Band remained one of the most popular extracurricular activi- ties. Theyjoined 1'11 man y competi- tions, and this made It truly an experience for anyone in vol ved . and thatis entertainment. Band is hard work Which requires alot of dedication, but we do have those spe- cial times in Which we can relax and have fun With our filends. ..
