For the first time ever, this year MPHS has male cheerleaders. Don Miilender and Chris Carter keep Tiger spirit running high. A definite change this year is the addition of Mr. L. K uykendall to our staff, instead of PHShs. Computer courses are offered for the first time too, This class seems proud to be a part of it. 12iSTUDENT LIFE

Bringing a lunch to school and eating outside like Dawn Millender is fun with friends like Roderick Magee and Terry Doby. G'riffm' Sireei Grocery' Bridgette Rand grabs a bite to eat before school from the little store. The cafeteria is a fun place to eat, talk, or even do homework. Some teachers like Mrs. Rimer prefer to take out food to eat in the lounge or room. STUDENT LIFElII

TIMES ARE CHANGINl . . . ml k Glen y changes were brew- ing in 1986 here at MPHS, as we prepared to do it our way in grand proportions. We were almost ready to cool the heat with air-con- ditioning and expand our knowledge with a new li- brary as a result of the newly-passed bond issue. There was even a new elective computer course. There were changes in people too. Naturally the sophomores were new, but there were also male cheerleaders for the first time. There were new staff members, and they were eligible to earn more be- cause of M TAI. j s One change for Lane Skinner this year is showing his younger brother Chad around. This is our year for some long- awaited air-conditioningl Plans are also under way for some grand improvements. Most teachers paychecks will change for the better because of M TAI evaluations.
