l983 84 This school year began with tragedy in the death of our friend and classmate, Rudy Ivey. But as the school year progressed so did our spirits. Football season was the greatest the Moss Point vs Pascagoula game victory was ours! As everyone knows, victory didn't end for Moss Point at War Memorial Stadium. Not by a long shot. We went from War Memorial to Picayune to Hattiesburg and on to Jackson and the State Championship. As Moss Point was soon to discover, holding a state title for football was not all that was in store for us. In November, Miss Lanette Womble was named Moss Point's Junior Miss and captured the title of Mississippi's Junior Miss in February. rv' 6 -Q Q. .- v i u t G. . o, 0 dr as 9' Students participate in Career Day
