AT THE END OF THE ROAD . . . ,A l K- VSQ As. fl: f! 4...; :' V . . y ,4 After thirty years of teaching Home Economics, Study Hall, and Sclence, Mrs. Mary White re- tired this year. Respected and loved by teachers and students alike, she taught thousands of students, Including many of our present Faculty members. She will be missed by all and there will certainly be many stu- dents who have yet to appreciate exactly what Mrs. White taught them. She hasn't left us completely though. Her influence and mem- ory will remain. Thank you Mrs. White - for keeping all of your promises. eh Her promises have all been met . . . the last piece of chalk is spent, the records are finished, the pens, report cards, signatures all finalized. and filed away . . . along with her memories of football games won, Homecomings of past, chlldrens' smiles, tears and words of regret. The chalk is now dust . . . swirling through the deserted classroom, She once called her own. The Lady has done her best . . . her own secret way, and now she's on a new road . . . leavlng us behind . . . in her search for a new home. JMS 23
