1971-1972 GROWLER DEDICATION The Growler Staff proudly dedicates its 1972 edition to the deserving Mr. Tom Hewlett. Dedicated to developing minds and molding character, this tribute is appropriately titled, for its subject is dedicated person. Mr. Helwett has es- tablished service of teaching, but not only has he established himself as a teacher, but also as a friend to all who know him. We cannot express our re- spect and gratitude to one who has of- fered so much to his students. We are certainly fortunate to be under his inspiring and sincere leadership.

Mr. Hewlett has been a teacher at MPHS for two years. He has instructed a variety of courses including Algebra 1, English II 81 III, SpeechI 8: II, and Problems. It can surely be said that Mr. Hewlett has pro- moted some of the students most suc- cessful activities. As coach of a dili- gent debate team, he and members of his club can well remember the auctions, pep corn sales, and of course the festival. In an effort to select a teacher of merit we turned to the most logical answer--Mr. Tom Hewlett.
