Our efforts have geen extended toward a goal of achieving unity of the whole student body. Encouragement was given to all organizations in our school, so that every student had the opportunity to express himself in the extra curricular activities. 'In addition, we have tried to help our administration and faculty to maintain a high standard of scholastic achievement. EARL DODGE CATHERINE BRISTER JOANNE EKLUND Vice-president Secretary Treasurer The Y-Teens started their year with one of the largest memberships in the club's record. THE M CLUB Only boys who have earned a letter in one of the major varsity sports are eli ible for member- ship in this club. These are the oys who represent M. P. H. S. in various athletic events and have been recognized for their skill and prowess, strength of mind and body, and their willingness to accept defeat easily. They have held high the banner of Truth and Virtue on the athletic field, and have learned to take the bitterness of loss, or the sweetness of victory, with a Sportsman's attitude. I turn this book over to you--you can take it with you to recall the people and things that filled your year at school. It has been a pleasure and if it pleases you, my fondest hope is fulfilled. In the event that errors are found, I offer apology to the indi- viduals concerned and ask their indulgence. Much credit should be given to our advisor, Mr. Tom Cook, who has worked faithfully and diligently. 50 We, the Tiger Flash staff, do sincerely appreciate the support given us by the student council, the student body, and the admin- istration in aiding to fulfill the policy of the paper. Our objectives in publishing the paper have been to serve as a medium between the student council, the administration and the student body, to inform the students of school and community hap- penings, and as a record for the Alumni. It has been a pleasure compiling the paper and we hope it has served us purpose. At monthly meetings, demonstrations are given to help each student make their best better. With such lively cheerleaders to lead the way, the pep squad showed real sparkle and enthusiasm this year. Yells in pep rallies raise the roof and inspire the team to try harder.
