Xwright Norman D Biker lr THF CLASS OF l956 Mr. William Paxton Faculii Adrirer Here we are, the graduating class of 1956! Within our yearbook, the l956 Mosaic, we have tried to grasp a representative picture of our school life at Moses Brown. Of course there is not paper and print enough to record even a good portion of everything we would like to remember. XX'ho could ever forget: trying to digest those large and frequent doses of French vocabulary, pouring over our history notes the night for morningli before a specific information exam, running the cinders for the track team, cheering the football team, or singing happy birthday to Ben Franklin, General Lee and all our other old cronies. These are just a few of the memories that are now behind us. We also like to think in terms of our individual contributions. Each one of us has, in his own individual way. been a real part of Moses Brown. From here we step forward into the future, armed with a solid educational background. College looms next in line for most of us. After that, doctors. lawyers, businessmen- Perhaps some 20 years from now we will reach into our bookshelf and carefully take down the 1956 Mosaic. After gently brushing off the accumulated dust, we will thumb through the time-honored pages, remembering our life at Moses Brown School. We will think of our classmates, wondering where they are and what they are doing. We will think of our teachers who meant so much to our growth and our development. And as we slowly close the book and set it back in its place, we will think how fortunate we were to have the opportunity to be a part of Moses Brown, 1 X is
