Qdires Hman Win , TS FIRST year in high school proved that the freshman class is an enterprising group. Initiation was the first ac- tivity Which confronted the class, and the freshmen par- ticipated in it wholeheartedly. Witches, doughnuts and cider were featured at the Hal- loween dance which was under the direction of the youth council. The other two dances were Come to the Mardi Gras given November 26, which had a Latin American theme, and Moonlight and Mistletoe given December 19 on the eve of the beginning of Christmas vacation. Boys of the class have been particularly active in sports, taking part in football and track With several of the fresh- men as spark plugs of the B squad basketball team. 1 L
