Jfzsfary PEGGY IOYCE LOWERY It IS hard to belreve that four years ago we were freshmen It took us a lrttle whrle to get used to bemg addressed as freshmen, but when we drd we were really a part of the school The proud wearers of green and whrte durmg our flrst year on the basketball teams were Mary Harney, Clara Ann Lrvmgs ton, Iulra Adams, and Rlchard Rhynes One year later and we were Sophomoresl We really enjoyed F F A and F H A mrtratron day Then we could return to the freshmen some of the cruelty whrch we had recerved Thrs year James Gathmgs and Charles Acker man made the basketball team Wrth Clara Ann Lrvrngston as our class presr dent we began to get ready for our Jumor year After a short vacatron we returned for our Junror year wh1ch was frlled wrth happy events Thrs year Rrchard Rhynes led the class as presrdent Seven members of our class were very proud to wear the Beta Club pms In January of our Junror year we got our class nngs Another happy event of our Junror held our Junror Senror Banquet at the Lotus Club It wasn t long before we realrzed that we were Semorsl It was a lrttle hard to become accustomed to that trtle Wrth Bryant Braswell as our pres1dent, we proceeded onward toward graduatron We were very pleased wrth the Junror Senror Banquet grven rn our honor We spent a dehghtful evemng rn beautrful Hawau, Aprrl 20 Then we began workrng on our commencement program Durrng the sprmg quarter the grades were averaged and we found that Clara Ann Lrvrngston was valedrctorran and Charles Ackerman was salutatorran Lrttle Joan Ackerman and Jerry Lrvrngston were chosen as the graduates mascots Although our four years at Morven Hrgh were short, we have had many en lrghtenrng expenences, and made frrends that w111 remarn a part of us forever As we leave our school rt rs not wrth regret that we say Good by but we wrsh to express to the school our gratrtude for rts affordmg us the four happrest years of our lrves Peggy Joyce Lowery Hrstonan nl 0 . . . . .
