The Alumni Association originated in 1892. And to this year of 1987 - 1988 the Association has been active with the Home and its kids. Homecoming, the biggest event of the year, was a big success as it always is. The classes of 1937 and 1962 were honored for their golden and silver anniversaries respectively. Joan Bell Hart wasthe recip- ient of the Alumni of the Year Award. This year the Alumni Assoication suf- fered the loss of their president, Jack E. Thompson. Mr. Thompson died in his home on Anugust4, 1987. Jack Thompson was an active man who gave much of his life to helping others. He will be missed by all.
