Row two: Mr. Stepancevich, Coachg Jerry King. Student Manager: Sam Frye. Ernest Minton. Charles Bragg, David Goins, Student Manager. Row three: James Draper. Eugene Bartholic David Leth, Joe McDermitt, George YVheeler, Fred Searcy, John Glessner, and , Robert Craft, Thomas Jordan, Donald Buckley. Charles Glaze. Daniel Beard. William Jordan, Albert Harrington. and Mr. Brewer, Ass't. Coach. UR MORTON gridiron Tigermen turned in a most successful season. Losing thir- teen letter men through graduation last spring, the team was expected to lack in ex- perience. But under the excellent guidance of Coach Stepancevich and Assistant Coach Brewer, the team worked long and hard. The season ended with four games won and three lost. The season started off slowly with a loss to Kirklin by a score of 26-0. Our next game was our first night game under the new field lights. The Tigers came out on top of a hard fought game with Alexandria, 13-6. The Homecoming football game saw the Tigermen come through with a 20-19 victory over Brookville. The next home game under the lights saw the Tigers losing a heartbreaker to Cam- bridge City, 7-0. On October 7, the squad lost a grueling game to Batesville by the score of 19-0. The remaining two garnes were won easily, over Jackson Central by the score of 25-0 and Charlton by 25-6. The following senior boys played strong and hard to help give the team the winning spirit which it had. ROBERT CRAFT, F. B.--The team has lost an all around football player in Bob. He was always counted upon to play any position on the team. THOMAS JORDAN, L. G.-A fine leader. and captain of the team who was full of the desire to Win, and a great competitor.
