HIC MORTON Memorial Rolled t'hoir, un- der the direction ot' Mrs. Louise Gabbutt and Mrs. Delana Levy, is a very popular organization on the campus. It plays a most important role in religious services held every Sunday on the campus. The annual t'hristmas and Easter Vantatas, traditional at the Home. are the highlights in choir presentation. This year, as in the past, the choir went to Milroy to participate in the Indiana Music Audition contest and ivas awarded a First Division Rating. Earlier in the school year. eight chosen members ot' the choir took part in the All-State Vhoral Festival held in lndianapolis. Choir Boys' Chorus r HIC MORTON Memorial Boys' Chorus. under the direction of Mrs. Delana Levy, is one of the newest but increasingly out- standing members of Morton's musical organ- izations. This chorus has fulfilled well, Home engagements on Legion Day, Homecoming, G. A. R. Day, and Memorial Day. The group has entertained a number of times off the campus and has entered a number of contests. On April 14, the chorus was awarded a First Division Rating at the Indiana Music Audition Vontest at Milroy. The excellence of this group is confirmed by the fact that it has received a lst Division rating each year since its inception in 1952.
