FRESI-IMAN CLASS ln the freshman class there are 46 stu- dents. They are divided into two groups so the classes will not be too large. In the class elections Clifford Gerbig was elected l'resident, James Strother Vice- President, Alice Strother Secretary, and Margaret Erwin as Treasurer. They did a nice job as class officers. There are several talented members in this class. There are those who are in debate club and they are setting a goal for them- selves so that they may become future debat- ers. One member is one of the peppy cheer leaders and is doing a good job. There are some that have been making good grades and are looking forward to getting in the National Honor Society. There is Joan Sco- field who is musically talented and does a nice job of entertaining the students. Last, but not least, those boys who played on the second team in basketball. We hope some day they will make a good varsity team. Keep up the good work and the students of the freshman class will be very proud of their group's achievements. 27
