we aszfzclenf Counci As a representative of student government, the Student Council accomplished many things this year. They not only had a hand in gov- erning the school, but also introduced new ideas. One of the Hfirstsw was the activity ticket. Admission to the basketball games was charged all those who did not have tickets. The proceeds went i11to the athletic fund to help buy equipment and uniforms. One of the main duties of this organization is to approve the budgets that the various clubs and cabinets have submitted. Second semester members: Bob Smith, Bob Sommer, and John Bordenavc. Don Tarne, Wvilma Vodak. John Pok, Jackie Wagner, and James Kosner. In January, the Council managed the second semester elections in the absence of an elec- tion committee. This was also the first year that a complete Council has been reappointed for the second semester. The first semester Don Tarne, James Kosner, and Jackie Wagner were elected by the student body, with John Pok and Wilma Vodak at- tending by appointment from Mr. Pope, ad- visor for the group.
