Winter Formal Held This year’s annual Inaugural Ball, which was sponsored by the student association, was given the theme “A Night on the Town.” Scenery was a view of the Chicago skyline and a horse drawn carriage of flashing lights. In order to receive tickets to the turnabout students were re¬ quired to help out with the decorations or bake cookies, etc. Tick¬ ets were $11.00. Since this annual semi-formal is held here at MHS students must go out for dinner. As in the past, many students ventured out into the city of Chicago for dinner and sightseeing, still others stayed close to home and went to Courtney’s or the Raleigh. by Tabitha Dixon Inaugural 19
