The night of the 1984 Sweetheart Coronation was a special event. One reason for this was that the FHA Chapter invited several past sweetheart queens to participate in the ceremony. Thanks to them the evening was indeed a thrill for all of us. Another surprise was provided by Mrs. Taggart's fourth graders who sang a Valentines song for the candi- dates. Also singing for the audience was a select group of senior girls. The highlight of the evening was, of course, when reigning queen, Lynn Greens- lit crowned Kim Pendleton as our 1984 Sweetheart Queen. The FHA'ers and their advisor, Mrs. Roble, should be congratulated on a job well done! Don't look now Kim! Mistress of Ceremonies - Mary Jo Serbus.

On April 28th 1984 the Junior - Senior prom took place. The evening started with a dinner at the Sheep Shedde with guest speaker Gary Nytes. The night moved on as the grand march and dance fol- lowed with music provided by Super System LTD. A Night In New York was the theme of the prom and the gym was decorated like the Big Apple .
