Queen Beth February 8, 1980 was the date of the annual Sweetheart Ball sponsored by the FHA. The President of FHA, Mary Jean Bryan gave the welcome speech and Vice President Ellen Winges was the Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening. Following the introduction of the candidates - Laurie Caven, Lorri Daun, Linda Tisdell, Beth Frank, Amy Lussenhop, and Kim Robertson, the choir sang “You Needed Me.” Kathy Wendt then had the honors of crowning Beth Frank as our new queen. To top off the evening, the Midwest Disco performed at the dance.
