MHS Guide Senior Farewell The Senior Farewell Dance was held on May 21. It was sponsored by the freshman class who deco- rated the gym in lime green and melon, the senior colors. They hired KQIC Disco to provide the music and special effects lighting. RIGHT: Students hustle, huddle and just hang around at the KQIC Disco dance. 1977 TOMAHAWK and the winner is 1 Anne Simmons receives the Robert Pfeiffer Award for scholar- ship, service, and character from Mr. Nytes. 2 Tim Hennen smiles as he walks away with the Athlete of the Year Award. 3 Peg Lothert accepts the Robert Bucholz Music Award from Ms. Hinz. 4 Chris Lussenhop, 1977-78 Student Coun- cil vice president, addresses the student body. 5 Dorothy Angermeyr takes the Athlete of the Year plaque from Mr. Tate, Athletic Director. 6 Carl Colwell was the recipient of the Science Award. 7 Student Council President Jay Brown presents Connie Gaasch with her Homecoming Queen photo. 25
