Jr. High Works Hard WE THEY 6 Fairfax 28 14 Gibbon 28 0 Wabasso 6 0 Hector 24 18 Franklin scrimmage 6 6 Danube 18 8 Sleepy Eye 24 Even though the Morton Junior High Football team only won their scrimmage, they came very close to winning 4 games. The big play hurt them the most, but they were never beat by more than 3 TDs. In the Hector, Danube, and Sleepy Eye games, Morton won the battle of statistics; but lost the game. The leading offensive performers were: QB‘s Tim Hen- nen and Tom Gallery, Fullback John Koemer, Center Mark Tisdell and Guard Jay Haas. The leaders on defense with the most tackles were: John Koemer and Tim Hennen. The defensive line also played well. 20
