The Morton High School Marching Band. Homecoming day festivities began with a pep fest in front of the school before the parade be- gan. The parade consisted of class floats and the grade school marchers, Legion members, Queen Vicki and her Princesses and the High School Band. Disappointing the team and many home- comers the Indians lost their game 14-6 against Sleepy Eye. The only touchdown the team scored was a 60 yard punt return by Tom Borman. That night the Los Vaqueros provided music for the dance, which was held in the gym instead of the town hall as it had previously been done. 6 Tom Borman goes all the way for the score!

Homecoming Homecoming 1973 began Thursday Sept. 13 at the coronation ceremon- ies held in the High School Audit- orium. The 1973 Queen was pre- sented her crown after the Pep Band and a few skits set the mood. The queen candidates were Mary Anderson, Vicki Ruhland, and Peggy Tate escorted by Greg Pres- cott, Gordon Senkyr, and Russ Pendleton, respectively. Patty Gallery, the mistress of ceremony, introduced the girls and welcomed back Bobbi Tretbar, 1972's Queen, escorted by the Captain of the Football Team, Mike Winges. Bobbi crowned Vicki Ruhland as our Queen. LEFT TO RIGHT: Peggy Tate, Queen Vicki Ruhland, and Mary Anderson. Homecoming skit by the Cheerleaders Club.
