THIRD ROW: Paul U'Ren, John Steffen, Mike Hennen, Harry Weilage. ball The 1968 Morton Indian football team came up with the finest defensive record in Morton's history. The Indians shutout four of seven opponents including the unusual scoreless ties with Morgan and Winthrop. Over all the Indians were 3-2-3 losing only to Sleepy Eye and Gaylord. Included in Morton's offen- sive array was Bill Shaw's field goal in the Sleepy Eye game, the first in Morton's history. Defensively, the Indians set new lows in almost every defensive category. B-SQUAD ALL CONFERENCE: Galen Kodet, Jim Angermeyer, Mike Simmons, Allen Kokesch, Rocky Sallee, Bob Larsen.
