Old School Bell Will Ring A new addition will be seen on our school yard next year. The Morton Public School Board of 1966 received the original Morton school bell from Henry FlinX who has had it at his home since the old school was tom down. This bell was first mounted in the old two-room house located then in the north- west part of town. Approximately one hundred years old, the bell has announced school days for many of our grandparents. The Student Council sponsored a contest for the best suggestion of displaying this bell. Senior Larry Blue, received first prize for his plan, which, will be used 4 as they mount the bell this summer.
