And We Cheered Coach-Mr. Tate The cheerleaders for the 1965-66 season are: Arleen Kohout, captain, Linda Kodet, Pat Ahrens, Barb Tate, and Ellen Schveinfurter. They were elected by the Student Council and other athletic advisors. Closely working with the pep club by leading pep fests and cheers, they have raised the school spirit and have built the team's morale. Mrs. Arlene Larsen coaches the girls. Our B” team cheerleaders led the fans at our B games and Jr. High games. They have promoted good sportsmanship throughout our school. Also, they have been a great help to the Senior High cheerleaders by planning pep fests and cheers. Our Team Fourteen boys and their Indian fans are proud of the Jr. High's 3-0 football record. In addition to their regular season games, the boys played three squad games which in- cluded some of the Sophomores and Juniors. The Jr. High's defensive linemen were Bob Larsen, Steve Winges, and Terry Kohout as ends. Holding down the middle line were Dick (Red) Gallery, Ken Reynolds, and Tom Menz. The linebackers were Kevin Sullivan, Bill Shaw, Mike Simmons, and Rocky Sallee. Mark Winges and Rich Mahoney played safety. In addition. Rich, was the team's key lineback- er. The defensive specialists were Bruce Vandagriff and Kevin Sullivan. The offensive line included Rich Sul- livan, Mike Simmons, and Tom Menz as guards, Steve Winges and Terry Kohout playing the end positions. Chuck Senkyr as quarterback.
