Q H I S T O RY , Concludedl THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES The Senior class entered their last year in Broadbent High with the size of the class de- creased to 88. Class officers elected this year were Don Gillispie, Presidentg Richard Sparkman, Vice- President: Dianne Vipond, Secretary and Treasurerg Dwayne Loden, Sergeant at Armsg Lloyd Harris, Student Council Representative. Class advisors for this year were Mrs. Long and Mr. Olson. The Senior class contributed members to athletics, yell and song leading, activity clubs, and the Honor Society. Dick Goodwin was elected Student Body Presi ent, Mary Wilson, Vice Presidentg and Dianne Vipond, Secretary and Treasurer. The Seniors chose black and white for their caps and gowns, to be worn on those memo- rable occasions, Baccalaureate and Commencement. QPRO PH E CY, Concludedl. BARBARA COTY has been married, you know, to Buck Clevenger all these years. They now own the Palarose cafe at Kosmos and are building one in Morton. MAE WEST BONAR, true to her name, is starring in her own stage show called Mae's Male Murderers. ALLEN CLEVENGER is in Hollywood now starring in a new movie. He was voted Actor of the Year and won the Oscar for his last movie, Cheaper by the Million . LLOYD HARRIS is Principal of good old Broadbent. He's doing a fine job and the students are learning many new things, such as How to Build Your Biceps Without Eating Wheaties. DWAYNE LODEN is now the sole owner of Mineral Lake. He has built a houseboat and lives by catching, selling and eating the large tadpoles from the Lake. YVONNE STAMPER is married and settled down with ten little children. She has a part time job driving a logging truck which keeps her from getting bored. BARBARA THOMAS married a wealthy old gentleman and is living in New York. She has never forgotten MHS, however, and every year the Senior Class receives a card from her on which are pasted two new pennies, THELMA SLOAN is playing basketball in the Cuban League for a famous women's team called The Dyed Redheads. The team consists of players six feet or over. Thelma is billed as Ter- rible Redhead, the Shorty. RON THOMPSON is still designing cars. His newest model has a hydrogen engine with atomic brakes. The Madamoiselle Car Company has just offered him a new contract. TOM BENTON is living in Boston and owns the new and ultra-modern Benton Beanery. He is now working on an experiment crossing Black Eyed Peas with Mexican Jumping Beans. MARY LOU LACEY is making a fortune manufacturing wigs. She had the misfortune of losing her own hair from the use of peroxide. LUCILLE REED has organized a club of homeless Naval Officers called Lucie's Lucky Lagers. DON GILLISPIE bought all the Union stations in Washington state with the money he made dig- ging sewers for Sodden Slops, Inc, TONY BRISTOL married a farmer's daughter and is up every morning at six to slop the hogs and punch the cows. HM COSTON. has been married these years to a wealthy girl who adores him. They own a huge home and he is forever throwing parties for his old classmates.
