Under his guidance the library 'acquired six hundred new books, making a grand total of thirty-five hundred. Morton High School has one of the largest libraries in the county. Mr. Jastad, local pharmacist and mayor, graciously donated the school all his extra magazines. The librarians' duties were to keep order in the library, help find reference ma- terial, and keep books and magazines shelved. The remodeling of the library was done by Don Milbrath.
