A week was filled with assemblies, excitement, unmatched people, cos- tumed teachers, and floats. That week was Homecoming '75. Wednesday's assembly featured skits by Pep Club, Seniors, and cheerleaders. Teachers got involved as they portrayed what they'd do if they weren't teachers. Mr. Kimmey: fnaturlichj Matt Dillon Mrs. Fugitt: Kitty fMatt's wifej Mr. Good and Mr. Pierce: singer and guitarist Mrs. Walker: Playboy bunny Mr. Coulter: water skier Mr. Lindley: farmer Other teachers dressed as Mouseketeers. I-logettes, a group of male cheerleaders also performed. Thursday was Mix and Unmatched day. During the evening Pep Rally, a cheering contest was held. Four guys, representing each class, took positions on ladders. Students yelled chants. The class who yelled the loudest allowed their man to move up the ladder. The result: the first to reach the top, got pie in the face. The lucky one: junior Eric Peterson. Friday was the Homecoming parade. Floats, car displays, and walkers showed their concept of Patriotism--the Spirit of '76. Morton won the game against U-High that evening. Saturday afternoon was the 1975 Cauldron signing party. That evening featured the formal dance with The Other Side performing.
