Six Valedictorians: MYRISSE S. CALABIA MICHAEL CLOUD MYRISSE CALABIA - Not all scholars keep their noses in their books and Myrisse is a fine example of this. Myrisse has been very active her three years at Morse. She has been a member of CSF for three years as Vice-President and Treasurer, and is a CSF Sealbearer life member. She was a member of the Varsity Badminton team for three years and received a plaque for her efforts. Myrisse participated in the Summer Energy Institute at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania. As if all the above is not enough she serves her community by being on the San Diego Ecology Center Board of Directors. She has also received such prestigious awards as the Bank of America Achievement Award in the fields of math and science, and math awards in her sophomore and junior years. MICHAEL CLOUD - Michael is a fine example of a scholar and athletic man. He was a member of the Varsity Basketball squad for three years. He is a CSF Sealbearer life member, and was active in Model UN. He has also received such awards as the PTSA Citizenship Award and Young Man for the month of June. He is noted for his good sportsmanship and friendly attitude to all of his classmates. TYRONE FONVILLE - Tyrone has participated in CSF and is a CSF Sealbearer life member. He was chosen as PTSA Young Man of the month for December 1976, and his name was published in Who's Who Among American High School Students. He received departmental awards in business and math, and science awards in his sophomore and junior years. TYRONE FONVILLE

A Mark of Excellence JOAA' GI KHACKI Christine aakata STANLEY TERUSAHI JOAN GURBACKI - Joan was involved in MAFIA as Treasurer and Vice-President. Joan is concentrating on a career as a zoologist and has taken classes in this held, Joan plans to attend San Diego State University. She qualified for a special work experience program in competition with students from all over the city. Her performance enabled her to gain credit for working at the zoo—an experience envied by many. CHRISTINE NAKATA - Christine was very active in extra curricular activities, serving on the Key annual staff for two years, her senior year serving as Business Manager. She was active in the Girls' Athletic Association, keeping busy on the Women's Varsity Tennis Team. Christine was involved in MAFIA, and is a CSF Sealbearer life member. In spite of all this activity Christine managed to complete her studies early and was a mid term graduate. STANLEY TERUSAKI - Stanley found time out from all his studying and hard work to be active on the Varsity Track and Cross Country teams for three years. He was also a valuable member of the Key annual staff for two years, his senior year serving as Sports Editor. Stanley was active in MAFIA and MODEL UN and is a CSF Sealbearer life member. Stanley plans to attend the University of California at Los Angeles.
