CLASS HISTORY As entering Sophomores, we the class of ’70 were determined to make our class a great one, and to be remembered at Morse High for many years to come. The activities in our Sopho- more year will always be remembered; like Samual F.B. Morse Week, our first money raising project. Loughran has proved that the Tigers are the very best. It has been on the campus for three years. During class periods, cadets learn drill, mili- tary tactics and many other things pertinent to military life. It is however, the extra curri- cular activities that the cadets show great pride in. A real source of pride this year has been the rifle team. Led by cadet Sgt. Norman Vinson, who is a junior, and the best shot in the city. The rifle team has already won a ten-man city competition. Clearly their determination and work has helped the cadets learn responsibility and leadership as well as preparing them for the future.
