Since our inception, we have added and subtradted curriculums to meet the tech- nical needs of New York State business and i dustry. In 1948 we became partiof the State University of New York as an Agricultural and Technical ,Institute and in 1965, became an Agricul- tural and Technical College as one of 58 units of the State University. s Our students 'graduatet with the Associate in Applied Science CA.A.S.J degree.,:The degree is offered in Accountigig, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Engineering, AgriculturalMScience, Agronomy, Animal Husbandry, Associate Degree Nursing, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, Dairy and Food Science, Data Processing, Electrical Technology, Engineering i iii Science? Food Processing, Food Service Administration, Horticulture, -Industrial Instrumentation, Laboratory Technology, Mechanical Technology, Natural Resources Conservation, Secretarial Science, aiid Wood Utilization Technology. Many of these curriguluips also offer options of study for further special- ization. An even balance between classroom theory and practical application in laboratories is the keynote in Morrisville's instructional program. Students are in- structed to test every theory in controlled experiments and practices. v .4 H 1 N 0.1: Il Catering projects provide Food Service Administration students with a practical application of classroom instruction. Floral design is one area of instruction in Horticulture. Agricultural Engineering students put theory to practice in electrical wiring.
