The aTmosphere oT The TirsT schools was compleTely scholasTic: There was no concern T Tor social liTe or exTracurricular acTiviTies. The school house Then, like now. occupied a posi- Tion oT honor in The Town. IT served as a voTing place, communiTy cenTer. and a general meeTing house. To accommodaTe The growing number oT sTudenTs. addiTions were made To The Morrisville, school sysTem.
