1892 195 9 Proposed —A Look m tke F iituire Again the school proved too small and so in 1924 a third high school was built — this was the large and modern Robert Morris School. In 1927 a wing was added to the high school and another wing and a gymnasium were added in 1930. And still the community and its schools have continued to grow. The high school is overcrowded and half sessions have become a necessity. To meet the current problem the plans shown above have been drawn and a fourth high school is planned for 1959-

Ever Cjt rowmi M omsville H lgk Sckool — In 1892 the Morrisville Board of Education opened the borough’s first high school in what was known as the Chambers Street School. Prior to this date it was necessary for all students who wished a high school education to com- mute each day to Trenton High School. The popularity of the new local school grew rapidly and soon it became evident that the building was much too small. For this reason the William E. Case School was erected on West Bridge Street and opened in 1894. 10
